Timothy J. O'Brien, M.S., is the Director of The Institute for Stress Management & Performance Improvement, in Tallahassee, Florida. He is also a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress and a Life Member of the International Society for Performance Improvement.
He has presented at both FFDA & NFDA National Conventions and has written several articles for their magazines, including the cover story for the January 2010 issue of NFDA's The Director. For 14 years, he wrote a column for Knight Ridder Tribune News Service, and has published more than 400 articles. He has given presentations on grief, compassion fatigue, stress, and performance improvement.
