3 CE Hours |
This NFDA course provides employers with an overview of ADA Title I employment practices compliance, explaining key terms and requirements. While Title I covers employers with 15 or more employees, in over one-half of U.S. states, legislatures have enacted laws that cover all employers or employers with fewer than 15 employees.
Upon completing the course, learners will understand the purpose of the Act, key elements including hiring and employment practices covered by nondiscrimination requirements, enforcement and remedy provisions, and what will happen if an ADA Title I charge is filed against their funeral home business.
The information in this course is not intended nor should it be used as a substitute for specific legal advice or opinions.
